As if to cynically demonstrate a sort of commemoration Austrian foreign minister Michael Spindelegger received his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi in July 12th, 2011, the eve of the 22nd anniversary of Abdul Rahman Ghassemlou’s assassination in Vienna. The crime does not seem to have been among the topics of the meeting at all, neither officially nor secretly. Small protests against the visit centered around the “Stop the bomb”-movement. The threefold murder of the trapped Kurdish negociatiors was just scarcely mentioned in the media …

When you say it’s implication on society as a whole what exactly do you mean? In regards to the Kurds?
